If Mikonnect video calling isn’t working properly on your Miko 3, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.

Before initiating the Mikonnect call, please ensure the following requirements are met
The camera shutter is open on your Miko 3
On Miko 3, open the Camera app from the Apps tab to confirm the camera is working

Miko needs to be connected to a stable internet connection with a minimum 10 Mbps upload and download speed

Follow the steps to check speed:
On the Miko 3 Home Screen, in the top-left corner, tap the three dots
Go to the Wi-Fi icon
Tap the green speedo meter icon next to the connected network to run a speed test

Ensure you are using the latest version of the Miko App
Follow the Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1: Set the location on your Miko App
Open the Miko app and tap on Settings
Enter Parental Passcode
Select the Miko Device and set the location as per your region
Tap on Confirm
Step 2: Initiate a Mikonnect Call
Start a Mikonnect video call from the Miko App
You should see the incoming call notification on Miko 3
Once the notification appears, tap Answer on Miko 3
