If you’re unable to pair your Miko 3 with the Miko App or the setup gets stuck at the pairing step, try the solutions below.
Before You Start
If this is your first-time setup, make sure you’ve completed the Miko 3 setup steps.
Ensure your Miko 3 is connected to Wi-Fi before pairing.
Keep your phone close to Miko during setup.
Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1: Check Internet Connection
Make sure Miko 3 is connected to the internet
If needed, reconnect Miko 3 to Wi-Fi and retry pairing
Step 2: Update the Miko App
Ensure you’re using the latest version of the Miko App
If issues persist:
Uninstall the Miko App
Reinstall it from the App Store / Play Store
Open the app and try pairing again
Step 3: Enable App Permissions
When installing or reopening the Miko App, make sure you allow all required permissions:
Camera
Microphone
Storage
Missing permissions can prevent the pairing process from completing.
Step 4: Check the Pairing Code (Important)
Enter the 6-digit alphanumeric pairing code exactly as shown on Miko’s screen.
If you selected Arabic during setup:
Enter the pairing code from right to left
Example:
Code shown on Miko: EAL56D
Enter in the app as: D65LAE
Try Pairing Again
After completing the steps above:
Restart the Miko App
Restart Miko 3
Begin the pairing process again from the app
