How Can I Check My Child’s Progress Using the Miko App?

The Miko App provides insights into your child’s learning journey, helping you understand how they interact with Miko across different skill areas. Child Progress is displayed in an easy-to-read pie chart or list view for quick understanding.

Overview of Your Child’s Progress Report

1. Open the Miko App
2. Tap on Parent Zone
3. Enter your passcode
4. Scroll down to Explore and Tap on Progress

Here you can view a breakdown of your child’s activities across categories such as:

• Langauge 
• Creativity 
• Cognitive 
• Health & Fitness 
• Social Emotional
• Social Science
• STEM 

Use the dropdown menu at the bottom right corner to explore what your child engaged with most over the Current Week, the last 30 days, or the last 3 months.

More Insights With Miko Max

• With a Miko Max subscription, your Progress Report becomes more detailed and personalized, offering deeper insights into your child’s development and learning patterns. 
• Non-Max users will be able to view a general overview of their child’s progress.

With detailed reports, you can track your child's growth through four main subsections:

1. Summary

Highlights the child's top learning interest and strongest skill with a personalized weekly headline.

• Includes: Top Skill, Top Interests

2. Skills Acquired

Displays the percentage of time spent across learning skills along with trends and key engagement statistics.

• Displays:
  • Skill-wise engagement (%)
  • Weekly trend indicators ($\uparrow \rightarrow \downarrow$)
  • Total time spent
  • Total time spent on MAX applications
  • Most played skill
  • Least played skill
  • Skills not explored during the week

3. Highlights

Highlights have replaced the Fav Apps Category on the reports page. This section surfaces the child's most meaningful activities during the week.

  • Songs listened to
  • Books read
  • Roles played
  • Explorer activities
  • Quizzes & riddles

4. Interests

Identifies the child's favourite interest categories based on actual play behaviour and the apps they engaged with the most.

  • Feelings & Friends
