If you encounter an error (such as the one shown above) while downloading updates on your Miko Mini, don’t worry! Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
-
Check if the home Wi-Fi is working
- Miko needs to be connected to a stable internet connection to update and function. Please ensure that you have sufficient Internet speed to complete the update quickly
-
Keep Miko on Charging
- Use the cable provided by Miko and use a minimum output of 15W adapter for charging.
- Keep Miko on charging during the complete update process
- When Miko is charging, you should see a Green LED blinking. LED won't turn on when Miko is off.
-
Reconnect Miko to Wi-Fi
- Go to the Settings section on the Miko app.
- Enter Parental Passcode
- Click on Manage Wi-Fi under your Miko Mini.
- Follow the prompts to complete the Wi-Fi Setup.
- Keep Miko Mini within a range of 5 meters of your Wi-Fi router for better connectivity.
- If you encounter any issues with the home Wi-Fi network, it is recommended to connect to a phone hotspot from another phone or try another Wi-FI network
-
Check for Network Restrictions:
- Verify if there’s a firewall or any restrictions on your network that might be preventing Miko from connecting to the internet. If required, disable the firewall to complete the update.
- If you encounter any firewall restrictions with a home Wi-Fi network, it is recommended to connect to a phone hotspot from another phone or try another Wi-FI network
By following the above steps, you can get your Miko Mini updated. However, if the issue is still unresolved, you can submit a replacement request through the Miko Help Center. Our team will assess your request against your warranty status and will get back to you soon.
