Getting your Miko Mini ready for fun should be easy! Typically, Miko Mini provides about 2 hours of active playtime on a full charge.
If your robot doesn’t charge, won’t turn on, or seems dead on first use, follow the simple steps below.

1. Check the Battery and Charging
Sometimes a new Miko Mini has a completely drained battery, and it needs a little time before it shows any signs of life.
Steps to Get It Charging

-
Use the right charger:
Always use the USB-C cable that came with your Miko Mini.
Plug into a 15W (5V-3A) (a phone/tablet charger that supports 15W or higher).
Avoid laptops, low-wattage chargers, and chargers made only for iPhone, iPads, Pixel or tablets — these might not provide enough power.
-
Give it time:
If the battery is fully empty, leave Miko Mini plugged in for at least 20–60 minutes before trying to turn it on.
-
What the LED means:
Flashing green: charging normally.
Red: battery is very low and needs more charging.
Yellow: slow charging (it takes too long to charge).
When Miko Mini is OFF, the LEDs won’t light — the lights only appear when Miko is ON.
2. Miko Mini Still Won’t Turn On
Even after charging, your Miko Mini might stay off — especially on first use — because it needs enough battery before it can start.
Try These Next
After charging, press the power button gently for 5 seconds to switch it on.
If Miko Mini never turns on after charging for 60+ minutes with the right charger, you can try a hard reset:
Unplug the charger.
Use a small tool (like the SIM-eject tool) to press the reset button near the USB-C port for a second.
Plug in the charger again and try turning Miko back on.
If a charging component is faulty, consider purchasing a replacement.
3. What to Try if Charging or Power Still Fails
Basic Checks
Try a different wall adapter or outlet (a different socket might give steady power).
Try another USB-C cable if you have one that supports 15W or higher.
If Nothing Works
If Miko Mini still won’t charge or turn on after trying the steps above, you can submit a replacement request through the Miko Help Center. Our team will assess your request against your warranty status and will get back to you soon.
Tips for Best Results
Charge before first use: Charge your Miko Mini for at least 30 minutes before turning it on for the first time.
Use a proper power source: A charger with at least 15W power output helps Miko charge quickly and reliably.
Patience helps: Very low batteries can take extra time to respond.
Charge after usage: Miko Mini is designed with moving parts like gears and motors, which can lead to faster battery drainage compared to smartphones or tablets.
