If you encounter an error while downloading updates on your Miko 3, don’t worry! Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Please ensure that your Wi-Fi network meets the requirements below before starting the update:
- Miko needs to be connected to a stable internet connection to update and function. Please ensure that you have sufficient Internet speed to complete the update quickly
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network has no download limits
- Disconnect other devices temporarily from the Wi-Fi network to free up bandwidth
Minimum upload and download speed of 5 Mbps
Ensure Miko 3 is within 5 meters of your Wi-Fi router
Make sure Miko’s battery level is above 20% - Tap on 3 dots on the top right corner of the Home screen to check Battery percentage.
Follow the Troubleshooting Steps
1. Keep the Miko on Charging
- Use the charger provided by Miko and use a minimum output of a 15W adapter for charging.
- When Miko is charging, you should see an orange LED light behind the Miko 3 charging port.
- Keep Miko on charging during the complete update process
- Make sure your Miko 3 is charged to at least 20% before starting the update.
2. Restart Miko 3
Unplug the charger from Miko 3
Press the power button for 5 seconds to Turn Off
Again, press the power button for 5 seconds to Turn On
Plug the charger into Miko 3
3. Restart Home Wi-Fi Router
- Follow the instructions provided by your Wi-Fi provider
4. Reset Wi-Fi on Miko 3
On the Miko 3 Home Screen, in the top-left corner, tap the three dots
Tap the Wi-Fi icon
In the top-right corner, tap Reset All
5. Connect to Wi-Fi and start the Update Again
- On the Miko 3 Home Screen, in the top-left corner, tap the three dots
- Tap Wi-Fi Select the preferred Wi-Fi Network
- If the Wi-Fi network is not appearing, click on scan Wi-Fi and select the preferred network
- Tap “Update” on Miko 3 to restart the update process.
If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, please switch to Mobile Hotspot
7. Switch to Mobile Hotspot
Turn on your mobile hotspot
Keep Miko within 2 meters of your phone
Select the preferred mobile hotspot Network
Enter the password manually
Tap “Update” on Miko 3 to restart the update process.
