If your Miko 3 is providing inaccurate or unusual responses, please follow the steps below to enhance its responsiveness:
Please perform the pre-checks below
- Ensure that you have a stable internet with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps
Ensure Miko 3 is within 5 meters of your Wi-Fi router
Follow the troubleshooting steps

Restart Miko:
Unplug the charger from Miko 3
Press the power button for 5 seconds to turn off
Again, press the power button for 5 seconds to turn on
Plug the charger into Miko 3

Record the Child Voice - If your child's voice is not already recorded, complete this step to help Miko identify and respond to your child's voice:
- On the Miko 3 Home Screen, in the top-left corner, tap the three dots
- Tap on profile, then click Save your Voice
- Tap on Yes, train Miko for my voice
- Then record the child's voice by following the commands
- Enable Listening Mode: Say "Hey Miko" and wait for Miko to enter listening mode. The display will show blue dots, indicating that Miko is actively listening.

Extend Listening Duration: To increase the listening time, please follow these steps:
- Open the Miko App, navigate to Settings, and enter the passcode.
- Select your device, then choose “Tune Miko’s Listening Power” from the dropdown menu.
- Click on “Listening” to increase the listening duration.
- Adjust the slider to increase sensitivity.
- Save the changes.
- Use Specific Commands: Interact with Miko using clear commands such as "Hey Miko, let's play", "Hey Miko, let's talk," or task-specific prompts like "Hey Miko - Open Story Maker" or "What is the time?" also check the on-screen text that is displayed. If it doesn’t match what you’ve said, please say the command again slowly.
