If your Miko 3 is not responding to voice commands or seems like it’s not listening, follow the steps below to check and fix possible microphone-related issues.

Before You Start: Quick Checks
Please make sure the following conditions are met:
Use the charger provided by Miko
Use a 15W (5V 3A) or higher power adapter
When charging, you should see an orange LED near the charging port

Battery level should be at least 20%
On the Home Screen, tap the three dots (⋮) to check battery %
Miko 3 must be connected to a stable internet connection
Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1: Run a Wi-Fi Speed Test
A slow internet connection can affect voice responses.
On the Miko 3 Home Screen, tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-left corner
Go to Wi-Fi Settings
Run a Speed Test

Make sure:
Upload speed ≥ 5 Mbps
Download speed ≥ 5 Mbps
Step 2: Restart Miko 3
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn Miko 3 OFF
Press and hold the power button again for 5 seconds to turn it back ON
Step 3: Test Voice Commands
Say “Hey Miko” or “Hello Miko”

If Miko enters listening mode, ask:
“What is the time?”
If your question appears on the screen, the microphone is working correctly
Step 4: Test Using the Microphone Icon
If Miko doesn’t respond to the wake word:
Tap the microphone icon in the top-right corner of the screen
Ask: “What is the time?”

If the question appears on the screen:
The microphone is working
The issue may be related to wake-word detection or environmental noise
