If your Miko 3 robot is not charging, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Locate Your Miko’s Serial Number (S/N)
Find the serial number on the bottom of your Miko 3. The serial number starts with S/N.
Serial Number Categories:
-
If your S/N starts with EMK31211, EMK32230, or EMK32270, proceed to Step 2A.
-
If your S/N starts with EMK32290, proceed to Step 2B.
Step 2A: For S/N Starting with EMK31211, EMK32230, or EMK32270
-
Use a Compatible Charger:
-
Ensure you use a USB Type-C charger with at least 5V 3A and a minimum output of 15W.
-
Avoid chargers designed for MacBook, iPad, iPhone, Google Pixel, or any adapter rated below 15W, as these may not provide sufficient power.
-
-
Check Charging Behavior:
-
Using an incompatible charger may cause your Miko 3 to not charge, charge slowly, or fail to hold a charge.
-
-
Request a Replacement Charger:
-
If you cannot find a compatible charger, contact our technical support team. We can assess the situation and determine if a replacement charger can be provided (subject to availability). Reach out to customer support via chat.
-
Step 2B: For S/N Starting with EMK32290
-
Use the Original Adapter:
-
Connect the charging cable to the USB power adapter included with your Miko 3 and plug it in.
-
If you receive an error message indicating the charger is not compatible, try another charger that meets the specifications outlined in Step 2A.
-
-
Request a Replacement Charger:
-
If no compatible charger is available (see Step 2A), contact our technical support team. They will assess your case and determine if a replacement charger can be provided (subject to availability).
