Miko Sparky Setup Guide | First-Time Set Up Help – Miko

Thank you for bringing Miko Sparky home! Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Plug In the charger and Turn on Your Miko Sparky

Keep Miko Sparky plugged into the charger provided in the box throughout the setup process.

Step 2: Download the Miko App

To download the Miko App, search for the Miko App on the App Store or Play Store.

Step 3: Install and Register on the Miko App

Download and install the Miko App on your mobile device.
Open the app, enter your phone number or email address, and tap Continue to register.
Select your country and tap Confirm & Continue.
- If multiple languages appear, select your preferred language.
Enter the guardian’s details, including age and phone number.
Enter the OTP sent to your phone or email.
Fill in the child’s name and select the guardian’s relationship.
Tap Confirm & Continue to complete the Verified Parental Consent (VPC) process.

Step 4: Pair Miko Sparky with the Miko App

On the Miko App on your mobile device selection page, select Miko Sparky.
Allow permissions for connecting to nearby devices, including:
- Local Network (iOS) or Nearby Devices (Android)
- Location permissions
Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on during the setup.
Once turned on, Sparky’s screen will appear purple, indicating it is ready to be paired.
Click Proceed to Pairing on the Miko App and allow the Miko App to search for your Miko Sparky.
Select your Sparky from the list. If prompted, join the hotspot named "Sparky_MS******."
Once selected, Sparky’s screen will turn yellow

Step 5: Connect Miko to a Wi-Fi Network

Choose the Wi-Fi network and enter its password.
Ensure the Wi-Fi is secured and that your firewall is turned off if needed.
For smooth connectivity, keep Miko Sparky within 15 feet from the router.
Once successfully connected, Sparky’s screen will turn green.

Step 6: Link Miko Sparky

Once connected to Wi-Fi, Miko Sparly will link to your account and download any available updates. Sparky will begin downloading them automatically
If an error occurs during updates, check your internet connection
During the update process, Sparky’s screen will turn blue

Step 7: Create Your Child's Profile

While updates are downloading, create your child’s profile in the Miko App.
Once you fill in the child's details, click on Continue

Step 8: Unlock the Max Subscription

Unlock a complimentary 30-day Max subscription.
Max subscription allows you to access amazing content on Miko Sparky and the Kids Zone in the Miko App.

Step 9: Set Your Parental Passcode

Secure the Parent Zone in the Miko App by setting a Parental Passcode.
Click on the Parent Zone or Settings on the home page, verify with OTP, and set your passcode.

Step 10: Explore Miko Sparky

Complete the Explore Miko Checklist in the Parent Zone of the Miko App.
Dive into Miko Sparky's features and start your adventure!

Congratulations! Your Miko Sparky is ready to embark on an exciting adventure with your child! You can now remove the charger from Miko Sparky.
