When setting up Miko, you’ll be given the option of having your child complete Face Training, which is Miko’s facial recognition feature. Miko uses facial recognition to help your child have a personalized, interactive experience with their robot. Completing Face Training helps Miko recognize your child when it wakes up from sleep mode, and during games like I Seek You. However, facial recognition is optional and not required to use your robot.
Miko is serious about your family's privacy and security. All facial recognition data is stored locally on your robot — never on the cloud. If you complete Face Training and decide later that you want to remove this data from your robot, you can initiate a factory reset at any time through the Parent App.
