What is the Munchy’s World App?

Munchy’s World is a play-based learning experience on Miko 3 that makes literacy and English language learning fun, engaging, and interactive for children.

With Miko and an adorable companion called Munchy, children build foundational reading, phonics, vocabulary, and communication skills through stories, games, and interactive activities. Learning happens naturally through play, helping children stay motivated and excited as they progress.

You can start the experience by saying, "Hey Miko", Open Munchy’s World, or you can also locate the App manually

1. Turn on your Miko 3
2. On the Home Screen, tap Apps
3. Tap the search icon at the top right corner and type Munchy’s World

Munchy’s World follows a Learn → Play → Read → Apply learning loop:

• Learn: Children are introduced to a new word, sound, language concept, or reading skill.
• Play: They practise the skill through an interactive mini-game or activity.
• Read: Children apply their developing skills through words, stories, pictures, and guided reading experiences.
• Apply: Children use what they have learned in a new context—for example, by answering a question, speaking with Miko, or solving a challenge. This approach helps strengthen phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence in using language.

This approach helps kids aged 5 to 10 build confidence in reading and communication while enjoying a meaningful adventure.

600 New Mini-Games & Activities:

Munchy’s World goes beyond traditional levels. Each world contains 40+ activities, giving children many different ways to practise and reinforce their skills. Across the four worlds, children can discover approximately 600 mini-games and learning activities covering: 

Children explore different worlds and complete bite-sized quests that strengthen skills such as:

• Phonics and word skills
• Reading and comprehension
• Vocabulary and language
• Grammar and sentence skills
• Oral expression and communication
• Social-emotional and life skills

Each quest typically takes 1–3 minutes, making it easy for children to jump in, practise a skill, earn rewards, and continue exploring.
