To improve your Miko account security and ensure device authenticity, the Parent ID verification step is required to be completed by the parent during the setup process. To comply with updated standards of security policies.
Why is this required?
This additional step ensures:
- Improved account authenticity and enhanced security on your Miko device,
- Protection against unauthorized access to your Miko account
- If you see "Verification Needed" screen on Miko. The parent will be required to complete the Parent ID verification step by entering the First 4 letters of the registered email address, followed by the OTP (One Time Password) sent to the registered email address.
How the Verification Works:
Step 1: Email Validation
- You will be asked to enter the first four characters of your registered email ID, which you have used on the Miko App.
- This helps confirm the correct parent email before proceeding with Miko
Step 2: OTP Verification
- Once your email prefix is validated, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered email address.
- Enter the OTP on the next screen to complete the verification and pass the “Verification Needed” screen on your Miko
Note: You will be able to proceed to access Miko only after completing the Parent ID verification.
