How can I customise settings for Miko Mini's voice experience for my child?

With a few easy adjustments in the Miko App, you can tailor your Miko Mini experience to suit your child’s unique needs.

Step 1: Accessing Settings

To customise settings, head to the Parent Zone in the Miko App. On the Settings page, click on “Tune Miko’s Listening Power”.

Step 2: Exploring Customisation Options

1. Listening Time: If you notice Miko interrupting your child’s sentences, you can adjust Miko Mini’s listening time to give them more space to complete their thoughts. Keep in mind, this will delay Miko’s responses.
2. 'Hey Miko' Sensitivity: Adjust the sensitivity of the wake word 'Hey Miko.' Increasing it makes Miko more responsive but could trigger it more often.
3. Directional Listening: Control Directional Listening setting to enable or disable Miko’s ability to face the direction of the sound when your child speaks.
4. Set Location: Set your location for weather updates, accurate time zones for alarms, and fine-tuned speech recognition that adapts to your region.

Step 3: Restart your Miko Mini

Once you’ve adjusted the settings, don’t forget to restart your Miko Mini. That is critical for the new settings to take effect. You could restart one time more if the settings don't get applied right away.
