Step 2: Customize Miko Mini’s Voice Experience
1. Adjust Listening Time

If Miko responds too quickly or interrupts your child:
Increase Listening Time

This gives your child more time to finish speaking
If Miko takes too long to reply:
Decrease Listening Time
Move the slider to the left
This helps Miko respond faster
2. Adjust “Hey Miko” Sensitivity
This controls how easily Miko Mini activates when it hears the wake word.
Higher Sensitivity: Responds faster but may activate accidentally
Lower Sensitivity: Fewer accidental triggers, but needs clearer prompts
Steps to adjust:
In the Miko App, go to Settings.
Enter your Parental Passcode.
Select your Miko Mini device.
Tap Hey Miko Sensitivity.
Adjust the slider as needed.
Tap Save.
3. Directional Listening
This controls whether Miko Mini turns toward your child when it hears speech.
ON: Miko Mini turns toward the sound direction
OFF: Miko Mini listens without turning
Use this based on your child’s movement and play style.
4. Set Location
Make sure your location is updated for:
Correct time and alarms
Accurate local weather
Better speech recognition based on your region
Step 3: Restart Miko Mini
After changing the settings:
Restart your Miko Mini
This ensures all new voice and listening settings are applied correctly
That’s It!
Your Miko Mini’s voice response is now customized to suit your child’s speaking pace and interaction style.
